The Blorg became something of an inside joke within the game. Due to fan requests, the empire was included in the game at launch, together with the Fanatic Befrienders AI personality, unique only to the Blorg and any empire with the exact same ethics and traits. The Blorg Commonality was a fanatic xenophile misunderstood empire that desperately wanted to make friends, and also had a militarist side in order to force others to be their friends if everyone rejected them. You’ll primarily want to get SFO: Grimhammer III for the improved combat and customization options, but you can also expect new abilities, mechanics, unit reskins, and everything else you could want from a big overhaul mod like this.During the pre-release stream series former Stellaris game director Wiz was inspired by one of the fungoid portraits to create a very friendly but hideously ugly species called the Blorg. However, this one does it in a more subtle and lore-friendly way. In case you’re not familiar with the previous incarnation of this mod, SFO: Grimhammer III is quite similar to Radious in that it touches upon pretty much every aspect of the game. If you’re looking to give it a shot, make sure to first uninstall all other mods just to be on the safe side. The caveat is that SFO: Grimhammer III is still very much in development and currently doesn’t play well with other mods. Grimhammer was massively popular even in the days of Total War: Warhammer 2 and is now finally available to play in Immortal Empires as well. Modders have been working tirelessly to improve and expand the game even before the launch of Immortal Empires, and you would be doing yourself a disservice by not checking out at least some of their creations. Immortal Empires may have turned Total War: Warhammer 3 into one of the best grand strategy games of all time, but that doesn’t mean there’s no more room for improvement.
